Get a good look at a new British comedy that’s heading to DVD this month.
A film that enjoyed good reviews during its theatrical release last March is Eaten By Lions, a British comedy that features Jack Carroll, Antonio Aakeel, Johnny Vegas, Asim Chaudhry, Kevin Eldon, Vicki Pepperdine, Nitin Ganatra and Hayley Tamaddon.
The film is penned by David Isaac, produced by Hannah Stevenson and directed by Jason Wingard. It follows half-brothers Omar and Pete, who were raised by their gran after their parents were, well, eaten by lions as it happens. When their gran passes on, the pair go off on a journey to find Omar’s birth father. A journey that leads to the sunny climes of Blackpool.
The film is on digital download from 22nd July with a DVD release the week after.
