Acclaimed acid attack drama Dirty God is heading to UK cinemas this summer.
Modern Films has confirmed that – following the acclaim it’s already attracted at festivals – it’s planning to release Sacha Polak’s new film, Dirty God, into UK cinemas this summer.
The film has been earmarked for release on June 7th, with preview screenings also planned.
The movie itself stars Vicky Knight, Eliza Brady-Girard and Rebecca Stone. It tells the story of a young mother who is the victim of an acid attack, one that leaves her with major facial burns. She has to try and put her life back together in the aftermath of the attack, which is far, far easier said than done.
