Hello! As you may have seen, we’re making progress on our brand new magazine – full details here – and we’ll be posted out the first issue at the end of this month.
Now? We’re launching our reader events – and the first will be our very first movie pub quiz. It’s taking place in London, and doubles as a launch event for our magazine. And here are the details if you want to come along!
Here are the details – and how you get reserve your place.
Location: London, Oxford Street area, venue to be confirmed if your team gets a place!
Date: Thursday November 22nd.
Time: Doors open at 6, quiz starts at 7. Venue serves food and drink. Advisable to get there closer to 6.
Cost: £5 per person. If you subscribe to Film Stories magazine, that comes down to £3.50. All money gets spent on brilliantish prizes.
How many in a team?: Up to six.
How do I book?: Send an email to simon at filmstories dot co dot uk with the subject Quiz Booking. Include your name, how many in your team (or if you want putting with others in need of a team), and a team name if you like (not compulsory).
We’ll then get back to you, to confirm your booking. PLEASE NOTE: we’re likely to ask for a deposit via an Amazon gift certificate, to stop people dropping out at the last minute!
