Kenneth Branagh writes and directs All Is True – and the trailer has dropped…

In between bringing to the screen the respective blockbusters Murder On The Orient Express and the upcoming Artemis Fowl, Kenneth Branagh has found time to slot another smaller movie in.

All Is True, that he directs and stars in, tells the story of a retired William Shakespeare. It follows the Bard as he returns to Stratford shortly after the Globe Theatre has been burned to the ground.

Ben Elton has penned the script for the movie – his first realised feature screenplay – and the cast includes Dame Judi Dench and Sir Ian McKellen.

The movie pops up in the US just before Christmas, and a UK release date of February 9th 2019 has been confirmed by Sony.

Here’s the trailer for the film, that’s just been released.
