Keanu Reeves will return to play John Wick again, once he’s done filming Bill & Ted 3.
The third film in the John Wick movie saga – John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum – arrived in cinemas around the world last weekend and promptly cleaned up, helping itself to nearly $100m worldwide.
As such, Lionsgate has surprised pretty much nobody by quickly confirming a further instalment in the series. John Wick: Chapter 4 will be with us relatively quickly, too, with a release date of May 21st 2021 confirmed by the studio.
Keanu Reeves will return in the title role, and the assumption will be that Chad Stahelski, who directed the three movies to date, will be back for number four as well. Expect filming to begin next year, once Reeves has wrapped up work on the upcoming Bill & Ted Face The Music.
