The trailer arrives for Sorry We Missed You.

Arriving in cinemas on November 1st is the new film from Ken Loach, that’s entitled Sorry We Missed You.

The film reunites him with I Daniel Blake screenwriter Paul Laverty, and this time the movie stars Kris Hitchen, Debbie Honeywood, Rhys Stone and Katie Proctor.

A first trailer and an official synopsis for the movie have been released. And so let’s do them in order. Here’s the trailer…

From director Ken Loach, writer Paul Laverty and the award-winning team behind I, DANIEL BLAKE, comes SORRY WE MISSED YOU – a powerful exploration of the contemporary world of work, the gig economy and the challenges faced by one family trying to hold it all together.

Ricky and his family have been fighting an uphill struggle against debt since the 2008 financial crash. An opportunity to wrestle back some independence appears with a shiny new van and the chance to run a franchise as a self-employed delivery driver.
