Rebel Wilson and Anne Hathaway star in the upcoming remake of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.

 

Chris Addison is adding another string to his considerable bow with the upcoming movie, The Hustle. The film marks his movie directorial debut and is heading to cinemas this spring. Addison is best known to date for his stand-up comedy, and his performances in front of the camera, notably in the likes of The Thick Of It and In The Loop.

The Hustle – previously entitled Nasty Women – is a remake of sorts of 1988’s Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (that starred Steve Martin and Michael Caine), that itself was a remake of an earlier film, Bedtime Story (that didn’t). This time, the two leads are female, with Rebel Wilson and Anne Hathaway headlining the movie. Also in the ensemble are Alex Sharp, Tim Blake Nelson and Dean Norris. The script was penned by Jac Schaeffer.

The movie lands in UK cinemas on May 10th.
