Steve Johnson’s new movie, Convergence, will be premiering in London next month.

Congratulations to writer/director Steve Johnson and his team on the news that their new film, Convergence, will be enjoying its world premiere at the Cineworld cinema on London’s Leicester Square. For a modestly-budgeted UK movie to get such a showcase at a venue where Hollywood blockbusters tend to get their UK premiere is no small feat.

It’s screening as part of the British Independent Film Festival, and marks Johnson’s second feature. The cast for this one is led by Jeremy Theobold, Nicolette McKeown and Lee Fanning, and a trailer and synopsis do a better job of explaining the movie than we could at silly o’clock on a Monday morning.

Here’s the trailer…

And the synopsis reads…

Successful writer, Martin, is struggling after the death of his wife and child in a car crash. But when he meets grieving mother, Lily at a bereavement group, his life changes and he starts to question the circumstances of the accident. Who is the mysterious character in the photographs and why can’t he shake the feeling that he’s being played?

You can find out more about the movie over at its website.
