A new comedy drama is fundraising now.
Conversation will be an 8-minute long short comedy-drama, about the intricacies of relationships that fall somewhere in the muddy waters between unrequited and impossible love, from London-based filmmaker and writer Manuela Lazic.
Currently, the project is in the early stages of production. Lazic’s sim is to raise enough funds via crowdfunder that will allow her to hire and pay the best possible crew, while also covering the costs of production and post-production. Manuela strongly believes in the importance of collaboration and paying people for their hard work, and dedication to their art. Along with producer Alessandro Luchetti, she set up the production company Ça Existe Productions, through which they plan to submit the film to festivals, screen it upon completion to key contributors and supporters, and produce more work in the future.
