Later this month, Five Feet Apart lands in British cinemas – here’s a taste as to what’s in store.

Heading into British cinemas on March 22nd is Five Feet Apart, a new movie starring Haley Lu Richardson and Cole Sprouse.

The pair play two young people who spend much of their time in hospital, as Cystic Fibrosis patients. Directed by Jane The Virgin’s Justin Baldoni, the movie is being distributed in the UK by Vertigo, and it’s just released a new trailer and poster for the film. Let’s do them in turn, trailer first…

And then here’s the poster…

And finally, just to give you your money’s worth, have a synopsis as well…

Stella Grant is every bit a seventeen-year-old… she’s attached to her laptop and loves her best friends. But unlike most teenagers, she spends much of her time living in a hospital as a Cystic Fibrosis patient. Her life is full of routines, boundaries and self-control – all of which is put to the test when she meets an impossibly charming fellow patient named Will Newman.

There’s an instant flirtation, though restrictions dictate that they must maintain a safe distance between them. As their connection intensifies, so does the temptation to throw the rules out the window and embrace that attraction. Further complicating matters is Will’s potentially dangerous rebellion against his ongoing medical treatment. Stella gradually inspires Will to live life to the fullest, but can she ultimately save the person she loves when even a single touch is off limits?

Again, March 22nd is the date to make note of.
