Sharks are in the water, as 47 Metres Down gets ready for its UK release in 2020.

British director Johannes Roberts continues to be a busy man. His next job will be rebooting the big screen series of Resident Evil movies. But ahead of that, he’s filmed a sequel to the surprise independent box office hit, 47 Meters Down. It arrived in the US over the summer, and finally, we get some news on a UK release.

47 Metres Down: Uncaged follows four teenagers as they dive down to a ruined underwater city. What they soon discover is that they’re not alone in the undercover caves they find themselves in, with a sizeable shark in the vicinity.

Nia Long, Sophie Nelisse, Corinne Foxx, Sistine Stallone and John Corbett lead the cast for the movie, and we now learn that the movie will debut in the UK on DVD from February 3rd 2020. It’s up for preorder now, right here.

In the meantime, here’s the final trailer for the movie that was released in the US.

And here’s the first trailer, from just after Easter…
