Arriving into cinemas and onto the Sky Cinema service this November is the big screen adaptation of Matt Haig’s novel A Boy Called Christmas. It’s the story of a young boy called Nikolas, who sets out to look for his father. His father, in turn, is looking for a village of elves. And there’s the small matter of a reindeer coming along with him for the journey.

Adapted for the screen by Ol Parker and Gil Kenan, the movie is in turn directed by Monster House helmer Kenan. And quite a cast for it has been assembled. Henry Lawfull, Toby Jones, Sally Hawkins, Kristen Wiig, Dame Maggie Smith, Jim Broadbent, Indica Watson, Zoe Colleti, Michiel Huisman and Stephen Merchant are all in the ensemble.

What’s more, a full trailer for the film has been released too, and it looks like this…

The film will be released on November 26th.
