The brilliant Aardman has a new film heading into cinemas towards the end of next year, in the form of its very first sort-of-sequel.

Whilst it’s not likely to be a direct follow-up, A Shaun The Sheep Movie: Farmageddon will nonetheless bring Shaun and his chums back to the big screen following their incredibly successful and quite brilliant debut outing.

This time, there’s a sci-fi tinge to proceedings, with aliens making their presence known at Mossy Bottom Farm. Splendid. Looking forward to that.

Aardman and Studio Canal have now released the first teaser trailer for the film too, and it’d be remiss of us not to bring it to you. Thus, here we go…

The film is due in UK cinemas on October 18th 2019 (or you could head to Germany, where they get it three weeks earlier). Richard Phelan and Will Becher are directing, from a script by Jon Brown and Mark Burton.

Film Stories magazine is available to buy in print here, single issues here, and digitally here.
