Chris Pine leads an impressive quartet in espionage thriller All The Old Knives, set to launch on Amazon Prime next month.

Chris Pine leads a very promising ensemble in the trailer for All The Old Knives, an upcoming thriller that is heading straight to Amazon Prime here in the UK. The film is an adaptation of Olen Steinhauer’s 2015 spy novel in which ‘Pine plays well-seasoned CIA agent Henry Pelham who, in the wake of an information breach that led to over 100 deaths, is tasked with finding a mole within the agency.’

The actor is joined by Thandiwe Newton, Laurence Fishburne and Jonathan Pryce. We’re already looking forward to seeing a cast of this quality lock horns with each other, especially after glimpsing some of the tense standoffs that the trailer hints at. Borg Vs McEnroe‘s Janus Metz helms this one and to the film’s credit, it looks pretty stylish too.

All The Old Knives launches on April 8th. The US is getting a dual release in cinemas and on Amazon’s streaming platform, but as far as we can tell, it’s a streaming launch only for us here in the UK.

If we hear any other details in the meantime, you can be sure we’ll let you know.
