Andrew Lloyd Webber celebration concert streaming for free from tonight

From tonight, and for 48 hours, you can watch a full concert of Andrew Lloyd Webber music and performances as this week’s The Shows Must Go On production.

The ongoing programme of musicals and musical productions from Andrew Lloyd Webber continues online this Friday. If you’ve not been following, each week he’s been making a full production available on a specially-set up YouTube channel, where they’ve been available for 48 hours at a time.

Tonight, then, it’s a full concert recorded at the Royal Albert Hall that’s going live. It’ll collect together a bunch of performers and a host of songs from across Lloyd Webber’s work. It was recored back in April 1998, marking his 50th birthday. And from tonight, you can watch it for free.

Performers including Sarah Brightman, Michael Ball, Glenn Close, Antonio Banderas, Elaine Paige and Kiri Te Kanawa are amongst those featured.

It goes live at 7pm. It’ll be available for 48 hours from that point.
