The 25th anniversary performance of Phantom Of The Opera is heading to YouTube for free – but only for 24 hours this time.

Andrew Lloyd Webber is keeping his word, and continuing to release each week one of his musicals onto YouTube for free streaming. It’s his response to cinemas and theatres being shut down in the current lockdown, and so far we’ve had Joseph & The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Jesus Christ Superstar made available.

Next up? That’d be the 25th anniversary version of Phantom Of The Opera, one of his most successful ever shows. This particular performance was filmed at the Royal Albert Hall back in 2011, and features Ramin Karimloo as the Phantom and Sierra Boggess as Christine.

It’ll be going live on YouTube this Friday at this link. It’ll then be available for 24 hours this time (as opposed to 48 hours for the last two shows), so you need to be quick this time around.

No word yet on what the shows beyond this Friday are, but we’ll keep you posted.
