The now Oscar-nominated Another Round will not be heading to a streaming debut, as a UK cinema release is (once again) confirmed.
Following its success at the Oscar nominations yesterday, with the film picking up two nods to go with the four it got from BAFTA, the acclaimed Another Round has landed itself a new UK cinema release date too.
The movie is directed by Thomas Vinterberg and stars Mads Mikkelsen. Following its festival debut in the UK, Studiocanal has stayed true to wanting to release the movie in cinemas in the UK, and has held its nerve about doing so. Now, it’s confirmed that the film will be in UK cinemas from Friday June 25th. It’s well, well worth seeking out.
The film picked up Oscar nominations for Best Director and Film Not In The English Language from the Academy. It’s a real treat of a movie, and here’s the latest trailer for it.
