The story of Arsene Wenger, and the season where Arsenal Football Club went unbeaten for a season in the league, will be covered in a new movie.

The growing collection of feature documentaries around sporting figures continues, with the news that a new production is underway focusing on the former Arsenal football manager, Arsene Wenger.

Noah Media Group and Federation Entertainment are working with Yvette Productions, it’s been announced, on the film Arsene Wenger: Invincible. It’s set to be a 90 minute film, described as “the definitive documentary of a footballing pioneer, who changed the landscape of the English Premier League as we know it and achieved the impossible”.

Gabriel Clarke (who’s just completed work co-directing the incoming Finding Jack Charlton) is co-helming this one with Christian Jeanpierre, and it’ll include contributions from many world football figures, as well as the man himself.

The plan will be for a theatrical and on demand release at the end of 2021, with filming currently underway on the documentary. As we hear more, we’ll let you know…
