Eoin Colfer’s Artemis Fowl finally lands on the big screen this May.

After being pushed back from its original release last year, the big screen adaptation of Eoin Colfer’s Artemis Fowl character is finally closing in on its cinema release. The adaptation of the first book in the series, the screenplay to the film has been penned by Michael Goldenberg, Adam Kline and Conor McPherson.

Meanwhile, Ferdia Shaw takes the lead role in the movie, in an ensemble that also includes Colin Farrell, Josh Gad and Dame Judi Dench. Kenneth Branagh has directed the movie, and the whole production has been backed by Disney.
