The brilliant Aubrey Plaza adds yet another interesting role to her already impressive IMDB page.

Hats off to Aubrey Plaza. With each successive casting announcement she seems to find more and more interesting projects to bring to life.

Since her wonderful turn in 2012’s Safety Not Guaranteed, the actor has made a habit of finding quirky, individual projects and creating magnetic, compelling characters to populate them. Her noir-inspired femme fatale was the best element of last year’s An Evening with Beverly Luff Lin whilst 2017’s Ingrid Goes West is an absolute delight, which Plaza also produced and won an Independent Spirit award for.

Now, Plaza has signed up to star opposite screen legend, Michael Caine in Best Sellers, via a report in Deadline.

In the movie, Caine plays a reclusive, miserable writer on a publicity tour, accompanied by Plaza’s optimistic editor who tries to change his ways in order to save her father’s publishing house.

The film is set to be a joint production between the UK and Canada. Linda Roessler is directing the project. Further updates as we have them.
