A beautiful animated film is getting a release in UK cinemas today, and here’s the trailer for Away – do support it if you can.

Whilst major studios have, on the whole, been keeping their films away from cinemas during these particularly difficult times, it’s been left to independent companies to continue to support he big screen as cinemas reopened.

One of those companies is Munro Films, that’s this weekend launching the beautiful-looking animated movie Away into UK cinemas. Whilst all the attention at the moment inevitably is inevitably on Tenet, do spare if you can a moment to take a look at this. It’s the trailer for the film, and the look of the promo along is really striking…

The synopsis, meanwhile, reads as follows…

AWAY is about a boy travelling across an island on a motorcycle, trying to escape a dark spirit and get back home. Along the way he makes a series of connections with different animals and reflects on the possible ways he ended up on the island. Part dream, part reality, AWAY explores our common, universal need to find a connection.

And you can track down cinemas where the film is showing right here.
