Barb & Star Go To Vista Del Mar: date set for lower price release

Previously only available on premium video on demand, comedy Barb & Star Go To Vista Del Mar is about to get a price drop.

When the lack of open cinemas forced Lionsgate’s hand a little, it opted a few weeks back to release the comedy Barb & Star Go To Vista Del Mar directly to premium video on demand in the UK. That meant that if you wanted to see it, you needed to spend £13.99 for a 48-hour digital rental.

Now though, the studio has revealed that you’re not going to have wait too much longer for a standard-priced release of the film. One where you’re allowed to ‘keep’ the film as well.

The movie will be arriving as a regular priced video on demand permanent purchase on April 12th, and Lionsgate will also be releasing it on DVD on the same day. No Blu-ray for this one, nor a singalong version with Jamie Dornan’s already-infamous song in the film.

The movie can be preordered on disc (no idea as of yet of what the extra features are, if any), and you can find more and order a copy here.
