Kristen Wiig and Annie Mumolo take the lead and pen the script to for Barb & Star Go To Vista Del Mar – here’s the trailer.

Originally set to land in cinemas last summer, the comedy Barb & Star Go To Vista Del Mar was then delayed a year, along with the bulk of distributor Lionsgate’s slate. Starring Kristen Wiig and Annie Mumolo in the lead roles, the film was written by the pair as well, with Josh Greenbaum directing.

Now, Lionsgate has had a change of approach over the movie. Because as of today, the film is available for home premiere rental. Which is a posh way of saying you can rent it now for £13.99. That gets you access to the movie for 30 days, but you have to complete watching it within 48 hours of pressing play. You can find more information on that, and rent it, right here.

The most recent trailer for the movie looks like this.

And here’s the first from the start of the year…

The official synopsis meanwhile reads as follows…
