Bradley Cooper is on the radar of the Bee Gees movie.

Progress is being made on one of the highest profile new musical biopics, following the success of films such as Bohemian Rhapsody and Rocketman. Producer Graham King was revealed last year to be working on a movie about the Bee Gees, telling the story of the band.

Anthony McCarten, who worked on the screenplay for Bohemian Rhapsody, has been hired to write the movie. And as things stand, there’s no director in place for the film. But there may just be a candidate if one of the casting ideas comes to pass.

As you’ll know if you read the headline to this article, Bradley Cooper has been approached for the film. In particular, to take on the role of Barry Gibb in the movie. No idea yet whether he’s in the running to direct as well, but after his success with A Star Is Born, he has to be a candidate, we’d assume.

Expect further development this year, and we’ll bring you more as we hear it.
