One of Eddie Murphy’s biggest early roles is getting the 4K treatment, as Beverly Hills Cop heads to Ultra HD this November.
And still news keeps coming of more catalogue releases this year on the physical 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray format. This time, Paramount Pictures – through Universal, that distributes its discs in Britain – will be released Beverly Hills Cop.
The film of course stars Eddie Murphy as Axel Foley, and it’ll be landing on the format from 30th November. It’ll come in a double pack with the Blu-ray edition too, and it’s that disc that’ll carry over a bevvy of existing extra features.
Paramount in the US has also scheduled both Collateral and Coming To America for release on the 4K disc format at the end of the year. We wait and see whether those will make it across to the UK as well.
