The Harley Quinn-led DC Universe movie, Birds Of Prey, will now get a slightly early release via on demand services in the UK.

Following its cinema release back at the start of February – and just how long ago does that feel now – Warner Bros is, as suspected, slightly fast-tracking the home release of Birds Of Prey in the UK.

It’s not coming as quickly to the UK as it has in the US, where the film is available on demand now. But the UK date had been revealed as Monday 27th April, and now that’s been brought forward even earlier: the film will be released on demand on Friday 24th April.

In terms of pricing, this one is going to be £12.99, but for that, you buy the digital version of the film outright. It’s not a rental change.

The movie is still set too for a DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD release, but that’s not expected until June 15th.

We’ll keep you posted as we hear more.
