Wesley Snipes will be heading to 4K as the first Blade movie is confirmed for an Ultra HD 4K Blu-ray physical release in November.

Another late catalogue title announcement has popped up for the Ultra HD 4K Blu-ray format, with the news that the Wesley Snipes-headlined Blade is being lined up for the format this side of Christmas.

Warner Bros has listed the film for release on November 30th – the same day as it releases both The Hobbit and The Lord Of The Rings trilogies on the format.

For the moment, it’s just the first Blade film that we’re getting, that stars Snipes alongside Kris Kristofferson and Stephen Dorff. Hopefully, this will grease the wheels for a future 4K release of Blade II. We’re a little more indifferent towards Blade Trinity.

More details on the release and preorders can be found here.

And for the moment, we’ll leave you with the box art for it…
