Vin Diesel stars in Bloodshot, and a new trailer for the incoming film has arrived.
Not entirely by choice, he sat out the recent Fast & Furious spin-off movie, Hobbs And Shaw. But Vin Diesel was still very much keeping himself busy. He was off shooting Bloodshot, a brand new comic book movie in which he takes the lead role of Ray Garrison.
I can’t be one of those people who can look you in the eye and say I’ve read the Valiant imprint comic books, but this clearly has pedigree. Arrival’s Eric Heisserer has penned the screenplay along with Jeff Wadlow. Directing the movie is Dave Wilson.
Just before Christmas, Sony announced a slight release date delay in the US. The movie had been set for February 21st 2020, but now it moves to March 13th 2020. The UK release is likely to follow suit.
The new international trailer has now arrived. Settle back and feast your peepers on this…
The first trailer, from October 2019, looks like this…
Here’s the synopsis…
Based on the bestselling comic book, Vin Diesel stars as Ray Garrison, a soldier recently killed in action and brought back to life as the superhero Bloodshot by the RST corporation. With an army of nanotechnology in his veins, he’s an unstoppable force –stronger than ever and able to heal instantly. But in controlling his body, the company has sway over his mind and memories, too. Now, Ray doesn’t know what’s real and what’s not – but he’s on a mission to find out.
