Stephen Graham headlines the already-acclaimed thriller Boiling Point – and the first trailer for the movie is now with us, ahead of its January release.
A film very, very firmly on our radar is Boiling Point, a new British thriller starring Stephen Graham in the lead role.
The ‘one take’ movie comes from director Philip Barantini, and co-stars Jason Flemyng, Ray Panthaki, Malachi Kirby and Vinette Robinson. It’s already won acclaim off the back of its London Film Festival debut, all the most incredible given that the movie wrapped up filming in just two days.
On top of the strong reviews now comes the news too that Vertigo has the movie in place for UK cinema release. It’s delayed it slightly though, from its planned December bow to a debut on January 7th 2022. It’ll got to video on demand services on the same day as well. The synopsis simply reads “An emotionally scarred London chef struggles to wrangle his team on the busiest day of the year in this single-take thriller”.
Bring on January – it’s quite the piece of work, this one…
