Sort-of David Bowie biopic Stardust, starring Johnny Flynn, is getting a UK DVD release in April – and it’s available to order right now.

The response to the unofficial David Bowie sort-of biopic Stardust hasn’t been hugely positive to date, but nonetheless there’s going to be a fresh opportunity to give it a try when it heads to DVD in April.

Johnny Flynn stars in the film as Bowie, alongside Marc Maron and Jena Malone. It covers an early period in the music legend’s career, albeit due to the unofficial nature of the film it’s not able to utilise the late star’s music catalogue.

Gabriel Range directed the movie, which is available to buy on demand now. Vertigo has confirmed though that a DVD will now arrive too on April 19th.

There’s no word yet on any extra features, but it’s available to preorder now.
