Never work on an empty stomach, suggests the promo material for a film that mixes carpet fitting with dinner.
Based on a short film of the same name, British comedy horror Cannibals & Carpet Fitters follows the story – as its title suggests – the antics of a group of carpet fitters. They’re sent out on a job to an old country house, that just happens to be in the middle of nowhere, and find the occupants are rather hungry. Keen to avoid being put on the menu, said carpet fitters have a job on their hands to survive, let alone fit the carpets.
The movie arrived in the US just before Christmas, and it’s coming to the UK in the spring. James Bushe is the movie’s director and co-producer, whilst Richard Lee O’Donnell penned the script for the film. And we’ve got a trailer for the movie right here…
