Here’s the first trailer for Calm With Horses, that’s heading to UK cinemas in March.

From director Nick Rowland – making his feature helming debut – comes the new movie Calm With Horses, that’s heading to UK cinemas this spring.

It stars Cosmo Jarvis, Barry Keoghan and Niamh Algar, and works from a screenplay by Joe Murtagh. And it tells the story of an ex-boxer working for a clan of drug dealers, who’s also trying to build a better family life for himself. Those two worlds collide, and, well, that’s all we’re telling you.

The first trailer for the movie has landed, though, so we’ll show you that instead, with the synopsis underneath…

And here’s the official synopsis…

Ex-boxer Douglas ‘Arm’ Armstrong (Cosmo Jarvis LADY MACBETH, PEAKY BLINDERS) is the faithful and violent right-hand-man to the drug-dealing Devers clan, ready to dole out beatings at the whim of his best friend, and the family’s unpredictable protégé, Dympna (Barry Keoghan DUNKIRK, AMERICAN ANIMALS).

Arm’s struggle to find his place in the world has consequences on his relationship with his ex-girlfriend Ursula (Niamh AlgarTHE VIRTUES, THE LAST RIGHT) as she strives to find a better life for herself and their young son Jack.

The film arrives in UK cinemas on March 13th.
