Nan: The Movie is set to land in June 2020.

Now in post-production is the big screen debut of one of Catherine Tate’s most popular comedy creations, Nan. The film is being directed by Josie Rourke, who was in cinemas earlier this year with her film Mary Queen Of Scots.

Tate reprises the title role of course, and she’s penned the script with Brett Goldstein. It’s set to be an origin story for the Nan character, and for some time, it was going by the working title of This Nan’s Life.

But! News! The film now has a new name, and an official UK release date. The film now goes by the name of Nan The Movie, and it’s landing in UK cinemas on June 19th 2020. What’s more, we’ve now also learned that it’ll be Warner Bros putting the film out in the UK, and as such, expect a wide release for the movie.

Matthew Horne and Katherine Parkinson also co-star in the film. More on the project as we hear it.
