Nandor Fodor And The Talking Mongoose is filming in Leeds in the UK, and Christopher Lloyd has now joined the ensemble.

When you’re casting a film that requires someone to be a psychic researcher who also happens to be investigating a talking mongoose on the Isle Of Man, just where do you go?

In the case of the film Nandor Fodor And The Talking Mongoose, you head straight to the door of the Christopher Lloyd. He’s the latest addition to the movie, that’s now filming in Leeds. He joins an ensemble that already has on board Simon Pegg and Minnie Driver.

Also in the cast? You’ll find Tim Downie, Ruth Connell, Paul Kaye, Gary Beadle and Drew Moerlein, Jessica Balmer and Edmund Kingsley.

The film is being directed by Adam Sigal, working from his own screenplay. And the synopsis that we could find reads as follows…

In 1935, Hungarian-American para-psychologist Nandor Fodor began his investigation of a strange occurrence on the Isle of Man. An average British family, the Irvings, claimed to have been contacted by a mysterious entity at their farm. A talking mongoose. Named Gef (Pronounced “Jeff”.)

The film will be heading to post-production shortly, and then we’re guessing we’re looking at a release at some point in 2023. We’ll keep you posted…
