A new stop motion animated film, made in Wales, is heading our way soon: here’s the first trailer.

To be clear from the start: when we say ‘adult’ in the headline, we don’t mean any of that mucky stuff. Instead, that this is an animated movie very much not targeting a family audience.

The film we’re talking about is Chuck Steel: Night Of The Trampires, and it’s a stop frame feature made by Animortal Studio in Wales. Mike Mort has written and directed the movie, and he’s brought in Jennifer Saunders and Paul Whitehouse on voicing duties.

The synopsis does a far better job of setting this all up than we could, and here’s what’s in store…

It’s not 1985 anymore…it’s 1986, and Chuck Steel is ‘the best God damn cop on the force.’ But even this maverick, renegade, loose-cannon, lone wolf, cop on the edge, who doesn’t play by the rules, has his work cut out when he discovers an evil is about to descend on the city of Los Angeles: the scourge of the TRAMPIRES – mutant hybrids of vampire and tramp!

The film will be getting a UK cinema release on October 29th, and we’ve also got a trailer for you. We’ll leave you with that for the moment…
