The life and times of Kevin Smith are explored in the upcoming feature documentary Clerk – and here’s a trailer for the film.

Ahead of the world premiere at next week’s SXSW festival, a trailer has landed for a new documentary about the life and career of writer, podcaster, filmmaker and more, Kevin Smith.

It’s directed by Malcolm Ingram, and follows his career from the moment Clerks hit big in the 1990s at the Sundance Film Festival, to the various stages of his career since. Right through to his brush with death just a few years ago.

The documentary involves Smith himself, as well as talking heads from across his many films. And whilst we don’t yet have UK release details for the movie, we do have that promo trailer. Take a look at what lies ahead – and make sure you watch until the very end…

More on Clerk as we get it.
