Lawrence Of Arabia, Dr Strangelove, Jerry Maguire and more are making their 4K disc debut in a deluxe collectors’ set – more details here.

Perhaps the most exciting Ultra HD 4K Blu-ray catalogue release announcement of the year so far is the news that Columbia’s six-film set of movies – already confirmed elsewhere in the world – is now coming to the UK.

The set includes six films that are making their debit on the Ultra HD 4K Blu-ray format. They are Mr Smith Goes To Washington, A League Of Their Own, Jerry Maguire, Gandhi, Lawrence Of Arabia and Dr Strangelove Or: How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Love The Bomb.

As well as the films themselves, the set comes with an 80 page hardback book about the movies, and over 30 hours of special features too.

A disc exclusive to the set also includes excerpts from Columbia’s 1975 50th anniversary television special, which includes on-camera material featuring the likes of Frank Capra, Phil Silvers and Orson Welles.

The asking price for the set is £119.99, and it’s available in limited quantities. It comes with a 15 certificate, and you can get more information, and order it, right here.
