Ahead of the release of sequel Coming 2 America, Coming To America is to get a UK 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray disc outing.
The Eddie Murphy-headlined comedy Coming To America is the latest title confirmed for release on the Ultra HD 4K Blu-ray disc format in the UK.
The movie, which arrived on 4K elsewhere in the world just before Christmas, will be released on March 1st 2021 over here.
This is in line with when Amazon is planning to debut the sequel to the movie, Coming 2 America. That’s due to hit the Amazon Prime Video service on March 5th 2021. The film had originally been due in cinemas before Christmas, but given current circumstances, Paramount Pictures sold the project to the streamer for a reported $125m.
There’s no word on if there are fresh extra features on the disc, although we wouldn’t expect anyway. The package comes with a Blu-ray version too, that’s likely to carry over supplements from previous releases.
