James Wan’s Malignant and Joe Carnahan’s Copshop are both on their way to DVD and Blu-ray in the UK this December.

A couple of films that didn’t make much of a dent at the box office are going to have another go at winning audiences over this December. That’s because both Copshop and Malignant are arriving on DVD and Blu-ray in the UK just after Christmas, and will be available via video on demand rental and purchase services too.

Copshop starred Gerard Butler and Frank Grillo, with Joe Carnahan behind the camera. Post-release, there seemed to be some pushback from Grillo, who was broadly hinting that Carnahan didn’t get his final cut of the movie. Still, it’s a decent enough affair, and will be available on disc from December 27th. More here, although at the moment, no extra features are listed.

Then there’s James Wan’s horror Malignant, and boy did this one split the crowd. No spoilers here, short of the fact that it goes off in different places than the trailer may have led you to believe. If you’ve missed all the fuss about that, then it too hits disc in the UK on December 27th. Again, no extras listed as things stand, but that may chance as the listing gets updated. You can find it for the minute here.

Both are now available to preorder.
