Director Alexandre Aja has been talking about his plans for a sequel to 2019s Crawl.

Produced by Sam Raimi, Alexandre Aja’s Crawl became a surprise B movie hit in 2019. The film focussed on a daughter and father who become trapped in their home alongside alligators during a Category 5 hurricane. With a budget of approximately $15 million, it went on to gross $91.5 million at the box office.

Speaking to The Boo Crew podcast this week, Aja has once again been talking about his plans for a sequel to the 2019 thriller. He doesn’t go in to too many details, but suggests the second film will not follow Kaya Scodelario’s Haley, instead focussing on another story altogether about man vs nature.

What do you think, will you be rushing back to see another Crawl film, with or without Scodelario?

You can listen to the full conversation with the director here.
