The Daleks are coming to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, with Peter Cushing on hand to try and stop them: more details here.

Yesterday we got the official announcement that the Peter Cushing-headlined Doctor Who movie Doctor Who And The Daleks was coming to both cinemas and the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray format. Now we get the news that the second Cushing-led Who movie is getting a 4K disc release as well.

The 1966 movie is coming to the format on July 18th 2022, and Studiocanal have very much gone to town on the release. Not only does the set come with the 4K disc and the Blu-ray as well, but there’s a booklet of new essays, collectable posters and art cards, as well as a 32-page version of a new book from Titan as well.

The set is available to order now, priced at £50 for the Collector’s Edition. A lower cost Steelbook is also available. You can find more information on both, and order them, here.
