Looking for a new podcast? David Morrissey might just be your man, and the first season of Who Am I This Time? is available now.

David Morrissey certainly has a body of work behind him. Switching between Hollywood films, smaller independent productions and theatre over the course of his career has given him quite the insight into the range of processes that actors bring to a performance.

Now Morrissey, star of Britannia, The Walking Dead, Blackpool and much, much more has taken all of that experience and launched his own podcast where he examines key performances from his guests, as they discuss one role from their career that perhaps doesn’t have the same exposure as their more lauded performances.

There are some terrific anecdotes told by a wide assortment of guests (we particularly enjoyed the John Simm episode if you’d care for a recommendation) and Morrissey himself makes for a great presenter, often lending his own breadth of experience as an actor to dig deeper into the actor’s process than other interviewers might do.

Check out the trailer below for the podcast’s first season. If you’re at all interested in the actor’s craft, then you’ll be hoked and we’d recommend having a quick look at the list of interviewees, just to see some of the talent that Morrissey has chatted with. It offers real insight into the nuts and bolts of the profession, as well as the artistry involved in creating believable, engaging characters. Here’s that trailer…
