Here’s the first trailer for the upcoming movie of huge musical hit Dear Evan Hansen.

The last time Universal bet big on a film adaptation of a hit Broadway and West End musical, we got Cats. I’m wagering it’s a little more confident with what it’s got next.

The multi-award winning musical Dear Evan Hansen is getting the big screen treatment, and the latest trailer for the film has landed. The movie is heading to UK cinema screens in October, with Wonder’s Stephen Chbosky directing. Steven Levenson has adapted his stage book for the screen, and the songs are again from Benj Pasek and Justin Paul.

Casting wise? We get Ben Platt, Amy Adams, Julianne Moore, Kaitlyn Dever, Amandla Stenberg, Nik Dodani, Danny Pino, Colton Ryan and DeMarius Copes. And here’s the first trailer and synopsis…
