Kenneth Branagh’s new Poirot movie is looking to add Russell Brand to its cast list.
Kenneth Branagh is set to shoot his follow-up to Murder On The Orient Express this autumn. It’s one of the few projects to survive Disney’s culling of the Fox slate, and Branagh is set to direct once again, as well as take on the lead role of Hercule Poirot.
The film will be Death On The Nile, adapted from Agatha Christie’s novel, with Michael Green penning the screenplay once again. And the project has already attracted a starry cast. As well as Branagh, the line-up this time features Gal Gadot, Armie Hammer, Letitia Wright, Tome Bateman and Annette Bening.
Looks like too that you can add another name to the list. Branagh has also recruited Russell Brand for the cast, and he’s in talks to join the production.
Filming it set to commence shortly, with a release due in 2020.
