The iconic animation director Henry Selick returns for his first film in over a decade – and more details have landed.

Henry Selick may only have directed four features in almost 30 years, but what a brilliant filmography – The Nightmare Before Christmas, James & The Giant Peach, the underrated Monkeybone and the majestic Coraline.

We can now add Wendell And Wild to that list. Directing from a script he co-wrote with Jordan Peele, the plot follows a pair of demon brothers who attempt to escape the underworld with the help of rebellious thirteen year old girl Kat.

Peele also co-stars, voicing one of the titular characters alongside regular collaborator Keegan-Michael Key. Kat is voiced by Lyric Ross.

Wendell And Wild will be released via Netflix later this year. You can see the first image over at Empire.
