The first productions to be added to Disney+’s new ‘adult’ section have been announced – and Die Hard is in there.
The new ‘adult’ section of the Disney+ streaming service has been confirmed to launch on February 23rd in the UK. A new tab will be added to the platform by the name of ‘Star’, that will add material rated above 12A/PG-13. This tab will come with the parental controls to stop the babs watching what they shouldn’t.

Disney has now confirmed just what material will initially be available on Disney + Star.
There’s the TV series Big Sky and Love Victor (the latter of which is set around the film Love, Simon, which if you ask me is a much better title). Furthermore, shows such as 24, Desperate Housewives and Lost are to be added in their entirety.
In terms of films, the only movies that Disney has thus far confirmed? Well, the line from the press blurb reads “a selection of titles from the Die Hard franchise will be available at launch”. Which of the four Die Hard films will be chosen remains to be seen, but it’s a fair bet the first one will be included.
More as we hear it…
