Disney+ prepares to unleash Hamilton on its Disney+ service on Friday, it’s released another trailer for the filmed version of the show.
Without question, the biggest release on the Disney+ service next month is the full filmed version of the acclaimed musical Hamilton. The show had been filmed some time back with its original cast – including its creator, Lin-Manuel Miranda – and Disney paid some $75m for the rights to it.
The original plan was to release the production in cinemas in October 2021. But for a range of reasons, not least the lack of much in the way of new material for the Disney+ service, the released of the filmed version of the show has been brought forward.
