After being held up due to rights restrictions, Frozen 2 finally heads to Disney+ in the UK from July 3rd.
Considering it’s been on the US version of the service for a couple of months, it’s no surprise that Disney is adding Frozen 2 to its streaming service in the UK. And now the official announcement has arrived that the movie will be added to Disney+ UK from Friday 3rd July.
This is two weeks ahead of Disney’s original plan, and rights restrictions in the UK – likely linked to on demand commitments and its deal with Sky – had meant Frozen 2 was always going to take a little more time over here.
Those commitments have been met, and the film will join Disney+ UK a week after the documentary series Into The Unknown: Making Frozen 2 debuts on the service too.
No word yet on any further July movie additions to Disney+, but we’ll keep you posted as we hear more.
