Dog Soldiers is getting a remastered re-release in October, and the trailer for it has just been released – more details right this way.
The acclaimed British horror movie Dog Soldiers was a surprise hit on its first release back in 2002. It helped put director Neil Marshall firmly on the map, and grossed £5m in the UK.
For Marshall, in fact, it was his debut feature, and he’d follow it up with the terrific The Descent a few years later. Starring Sean Pertwee and Kevin McKidd, it was Dog Soldiers that nonetheless put him on the map. And Vertigo – a company that’s been strongly supporting cinemas since the moment they reopened – has announced a 4K restoration of the movie.
The plan is to release the film on digital platforms with its full remaster on October 12th. Hopefully, a few cinemas will give the movie another spin on the big screen too.
For now, here’s the trailer for the re-release…
