Dolph Lundgren and his jumper headline a new Christmas movie involving some talking dogs – more details here.

Here’s something to look forward to at the end of the year. Working under the tagline ‘Christmas has never been so ruff’, Pups Alone is an upcoming movie that sees Dolph Lundgren trying to mastermind the robbery of a dog collar.

The collar in question is one that’s been invented by his neighbour, and it has the ability to turn the thoughts of dogs into words. Lundgren thus recruits some people to nick it while his neighbours are on holiday, and it’s up to the dogs themselves to have a bit of a natter and foil the plan.

Joining Lundgren in the ensemble for this one are Jennifer Love Hewitt, Rob Schneider, Danny Trejo, Malcolm McDowell, Eric Roberts and Jerry O’Connell. It’s directed by Alex Merkin, from a screenplay by Brandon Burrows and Jason Gruich. What’s more, the movie is already in post-production from what we can gleam, having found distribution too at the recent European Film Market.

In these dark times for the world, rest assured we have Dolph Lundgren in a festive jumper, supervising a dog robbery to look forward to. More on Pups Alone as we hear it. We’ll leave you with the artwork for now…
